Welcome to the Gerald W. Lynch Theater

“The Crown Jewel of CUNY Theaters”

Since opening in 1988, the Gerald W. Lynch Theater has served as a vital cultural hub for John Jay College and the broader New York City community. Located near Lincoln Center, the theater presents a diverse range of programming, including opera, theater, comedy, and dance, and has hosted events such as the Lincoln Center Festival, Prototype Opera, Comedy Central productions, and The Actors Fund.

In addition to public performances, the theater also accommodates private events, including conferences, graduations, and corporate meetings.
