BRUISED BUT NOT BROKEN (Gospel Musical Stage Play)

Gerald W. Lynch Theater 524 West 59th Street, New York, NY

During our theater production of Bruised But Not Broken, you will step into the lives of the Thomas sisters as they learn more about themselves and each other. Watch as they unveil pieces of themselves…the pieces that they didn't want anyone to see…the parts of themselves they were ashamed of and tried so desperately to hide.

Bruised But Not Broken is about healing when you think you were too messed up, too damaged, and too bruised to heal. This production teaches you how to get up after you have fallen. God's ability to take what the enemy meant for evil and turn it into good is manifested in every scene. Remember, bitter becomes sweet when you put it in the Master's hands.

New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players: Ruddigore

Gerald W. Lynch Theater 524 West 59th Street, New York, NY

There are no advance in person sales, but they can call here: https://www.hunter.cuny.edu/kayeplayhouse/tickets

Despite its title, Ruddigore is neither gory nor scary. This topsy-turvy take on stock melodrama characters includes professional bridesmaids, a village maiden wedded to her book of etiquette, a timid suitor in disguise, a charming yet backstabbing heroic sailor, a hysterical mad maiden, and a picture gallery of ghostly ancestors. When the disguised suitor is revealed by his brother to be a Bad Baronet with the family curse of being required to commit a crime each day, roles get reversed and the logical comment of the mad girl puts the proceedings in proper comic relief.
